Spring Workshop at Hutton Roof, Cumbria

On a glorious sunny morning (at no extra cost to participants!) a workshop was underway at Hutton Roof Village Hall, Cumbria. A location perhaps better known to fell-runners, but nevertheless a great little venue for painting in serene surroundings. The workshop covered mixed media based around landscapes, and it was delightful to see the range of patterns, textures and colours used. For most this was their first foray into mixed media or working with acrylics, but confidence in experimentation grew throughout the day and I think I gained some new gelli-printing and Brusho fans!
